During the quiet of the COVID lockdown, Alain and I dreamed up the idea of our little underground house. What began as a playful project quickly grew close to our hearts. Together, we poured our creativity, love, and energy into every corner. Alain wasn’t much for decorating, but he was a wizard with machines and heavy lifting, digging, moving, and shaping the land with skill and ease. His work laid the strong foundation that turned our vision into the cozy, unique space it is today.
As the house took shape, we realized we wanted to share it with others, people who would delight in the calm, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the simple beauty of the surrounding countryside. Every detail reflects the care and joy we felt while building it, from the little nooks made for reading, to the sunlit corners where birds often visit. Our hope is that every guest leaves with a little of that same peace, happiness, and sense of connection.
Now, my journey continues, carrying forward the vision Alain and I shared. During 2026, I will be creating a pedagogical farm, where people of all ages can meet the animals and experience the rhythms of life on the land. And in 2027, a second holiday home will open, offering another chance to welcome guests into this beautiful corner of the world.
Through it all, the heart of what I do remains the same: building spaces filled with love, creativity, and a deep connection to nature. Places where everyone can feel at home, inspired, and just a little closer to the simple joys of life.
